2019 was an exciting year at the Subterranean Theatre! Our main productions were Titus Andronicus, followed by our first original devised production, Convoy 31000. Convoy 31000 was written by Artistic Director, Tina Taylor, working with the Lunatico ensemble on the stories of women who joined the French Resistance forces in order to fight fascist Nazi occupation. In addition to two productions, we launched the Shoebox Reading Series!

We also had some fantastic groups using our beloved theatre, including weekly stand up comedy nights, and Those Women Productions, who brought Carol Lashof’s new play about the Salem With Hunt to the theatre!
