Currently in production is Sarah Ruhl’s, Melancholy Play

Theatre Lunatico has signed up to the Theatre Bay Area COVID PROTOCOLS.

As we are a small basement theater venue, for phase 1 of our reopening we feel it would not be safe at this time to allow for any exemptions to the following policies.

It is required that everyone who enters the theatre must:

1. Provide proof of vaccination status: CDC-issued vaccine card (or photo of it), or a CA-issued QR code
2. Wear a mask at all times

The actors and crew at the theatre will be following the same rules, although actors will be removing their masks when they are on the stage performing.

Melancholy Play runs 90 minutes without intermission, and we will not be allowing food or drink into the theatre at this time. However, we still strongly encourage our audiences to support La Val’s pizza by arriving early or staying after the show to enjoy some food and drink. La Val’s pizza have been very supportive of our company and theater throughout this pandemic, and this would be a wonderful way of paying them back for their commitment to keeping the Subterranean Theater alive as a venue for Bay Area theatre artists!

We will be constantly reassessing our policies, and will keep you informed of any updates.

Remember, IF YOU COME TO THE SUBTERRANEAN THEATER, MAKE SURE YOU BRING PROOF OF YOUR VACCINATION STATUS, AND WEAR A MASK.

WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND SUPPORT!
